The “Asociación Española de Investigación sobre el Cáncer” (Spanish Association for Cancer Research) (ASEICA) was created in 1983 with the aim of bringing together Spanish professionals dedicated to cancer research in all fronts. After several years of focusing its activities on attempting to achieve solid national implantation, the ASEICA recently started a new phase of international trajectory with its incorporation to the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) through the set up of joint activities with Societies as well as Latin-American and Spanish groups interested in cancer research.
